Hello:

My 68 yr. old mother has just got diagnosed with mild colitis.

Her dr. put her on sulfazine.

Is sulfazine a safe drug to be on?

Her diahrea all began months ago when she took Mobic for her osteoarthritis, that lasted for about a month then went away, then in April she took Fosamax for her osteoporosis and it began the diahera again........

So she had a colonoscopy and they found she has mild colitis.

I am wondering what is a natural treatment for colitis?

Any vitamins or supplements that might help her?

Any foods that she should stay away from or foods that could heal her?

Any other advice to help her would be greatly appreciated.
