Dear Dr. My last question to you posted on August 7th may not be as "strange" as you think. I have in the past been contacted by a person who was in the Counselling Profession; he indicated to me that he was very "learned" in the field of "Hypnotherapy" and that based on what he knew and observed, there are "some people" for which this therapy has proven "effective" --- that includes persons who have a Psychological Basis for this "skin disorder"; he indicated that for a small percentage of people who are otherwise healthy, but who have never been able to deal effectively with their acne -it is possible to cure it through "hypnotherapy". That was the reason for my last question to you, and for this explanation. Do you agree that this treatment may be "helpful"?
Thank you,
Ivanna K.

Re: Hypnotherapy + Acne + suggestion!!!!Dear IvannaK,
Please see response of today and please accept my apologies for long in replying. Your question was not strange to me in any way. In my profession, clients come with a vast array of questions, seeking help and solutions to problems they have been frustrated with for long periods of time. Yes, hypnotherapy can be effective for the condition of acne. Depending on suggestibility (how you learn and take in information)and other important information the hypnotherapist must learn about you, yes, I agree that hypnotherapy may be helpful.
